About
I love bright colors and textures. These are expressed in my acrylic paintings and stained glass. My paintings are very loose and expressive while my stained glass is structured and very much "within the lines". Painting is an exploration and discovery process. I put paint down in many layers until I produce an image I find exciting. In contrast, my stained glass requires a lot of planning and very exacting execution. First a drawing is made of the glass window, followed by the creation of a pattern. The pattern is then used to cut the pieces of glass. Each piece of glass is then edged with copper foil and soldered together.
